WINDOWS installation instructions:

Please download the OMERO.insight client. Please unzip the file on your local system. Go to the OMERO.insight/bin and start omero-insight.bat.
Note: you need java jre1.8( java download page) for windows.

For members of University Osnabrueck only:
if your are inside the university network you can use the OMERO.insight without installation. Please have a look at OMERO Clients

LINUX installation instructions:

Please download the OMERO.insight client. Please unzip the file on your local system. Go to the OMERO.insight/bin and run OMEROinsight_unix.sh. Note: you need java jre1.8 for linux.

MAC installation instructions:

Please download the OMERO.insight client. Please unzip the file on your local system. Go to the OMERO.insight/bin and run OMEROinsight_unix.sh.

ImageJ /FIJI Plugin

1. Download the packages from Downloads.
2. Fiji must first be fully updated.
3. Close Fiji.
4. Open your Fiji installation folder (typically named ‘Fiji.app’).
5. Remove bio-formats_plugins.jar from the ‘plugins’ sub-folder.
6. Remove all of the .jars from the ‘jars/bio-formats’ sub-folder.
7. Place the downloaded bio-formats_plugin.jar in the ‘plugins’ sub-folder of your Fiji installation.
8. Place the jar's from downloaded bio-formats folder in the  ‘jars/bio-formats’ sub-folder of your Fiji installation.
9. Start Fiji.
10. To Check Version of Bio-Formats Select Help > About Plugins > Bio-Formats Plugins… Check that the version of Bio-Formats matches the freshly downloaded version.
